LinkedIn Company Profile & Your Individual Profile

Assuming you have created your Company Profile, you now need to ensure it is linked to your Individual profile for all to see.  To create the Company Profile, click on “Companies” in LinkedIn and then select the link labelled “Add a Company” which is at the top right for the screen).


To connect your Company Profile to your Individual Profile, you simply go to edit your Individual Profile and re-enter the company name in your current position or role.  Do this slowly so that LinkedIn can find the company in a drop down list.  Select it from there and save.


If you couldn’t find your company, then you might yet need to wait until the profile has registered, but it’s worth checking the spelling!


When the two are connected, your current role will show a little white box next to the company name.  You might want to do this with previous roles, especially if you have a great portfolio to show.
